Feltrin Sementes is carrying out work with Luzia lettuce, which has been attracting attention in the Green Belt region of Rio de Janeiro. A distinct product in the curly green segment, with tolerance to severe Fusarium infestation, which differs from the others by presenting a large size, high curliness, a tropicalized genetics, having great versatility to be cultivated in open field or hydroponics.

All this result was only possible thanks to the great work that involved technicians, breeders and geneticists and many years of study and research to achieve the development of this product. The work is proving that with this differentiated lettuce it is possible to obtain good results and innovations in the lettuce market. Innovation is part of Feltrin's technical team, which is concerned with everything from obtaining good genetics and product development to its commercialization at the point of sale.
